The only requirement is to have a Mikrotik router on RouterOSv7. I don’t own any more Mikrotiks

Open Winbox

Click on Queues

Click on Queue Types

Click +
For ‘name’ type in “fq_codel” (or whatever)
Set kind = fq codel
Leave everything else default
Click on Simple Queues

Click +
General -> For ‘name’ type in “fq_codel” (or whatever)
General -> Set Target = ether1 OR can use 192.168.88.0/24 (or whatever your home network IP is)
General -> Set Target Upload Max = about 90% of max upload on fast.com e.g. if max is 10Mbit, type in “9M”
General -> Set Target Download Max = about 90% of max upload on fast.com e.g. if max is 50Mbit, type in “45M”
Advanced -> Set Queue Type (Target Upload) = fq_codel
Advanced -> Set Queue Type (Target Download) = fq_codel
Total -> Set Total Queue Type = fq_codel
